Measures

In order to support children and young people in their different life phases and needs, measures are planned, promoted and implemented by public and private providers.

In this context, policy measures for young people transversally encompass different areas such as education, family, housing, health, social security, employment and justice. Next to the purview of nation-state bodies, policy measures are also defined and implemented at supranational and local levels.

In addition to studies on youth policy and its measures (see the topic Participation and Engagement), our projects also look at the effectiveness of measures in the care and assistance sector. We regularly summarize existing policies and measures in European comparative factsheets.
