Results of the Survey "Generation What"

Generation what is a survey that aims to draw a portrait of the 15-34 generation. In addition to Luxembourg, eleven other European countries are participating in 2016 (France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, Wales (UK) and the Czech Republic). The project aims to provide answers to the question of how young people think and therefore examines different areas such as their daily life, their family, their relationships, their relationship with politics, Europe, etc.

Methodology

The study consists of three parts:

  1. a comprehensive online survey in the participating European countries according to social science standards. The aim of the survey is to capture the goals, hopes and fears of the generation under study.
  2. A statistical portrait of youth illustrating the data collected with infographics (www.generation-what.eu).
  3. A statistical portrait of European youth, which uses info cards to allow for comparable questions.
